Matala Power-Cyclone Pond Vacuum
Matala’s Power-Cyclone Vacuum is one of the only vacuums on the market with two motors that operate simultaneously. It means you can pump water into one end of the vacuum and out the other end in one continuous, non-stop flow. This makes it much more practical than single-motor designs where the water pulled into the vacuum needs to be emptied each time it fills. It means you can start pumping water out of a space and leave the vacuum to do its thing until all of the water is gone.
Pumps over 5,000L per hour
The Matala Power-Cyclone Vacuum has a ½hp motor that can pump out more than 90 litres of water per minute. This is tested using a USA 60Hz power outlet and may vary slightly using an Australian power supply. Ninety litres per minute converts to more than 5,000L per hour.
Pumps up to 5m elevation
The Matala Power-Cyclone Vacuum has the added benefit of being able to pump water up a 5m elevation. This means you can easily pump water from the ground, up over the ledge of a window and discharge the water outside. Keep in mind, while you can pump water up to 5m high, the suggested elevation is around 1m. At this shorter elevation, the discharge flow rate remains strong. This still makes the vacuum ideal for pumping flooded water up over the ledge of a window (which is generally lower than 1m) to discharge the water outside.
18m of hose standard, 9m extension available
The vacuum comes with an 8m intake hose and 10m outtake hose (18m). You can also purchase an additional 9m hose which attaches to the discharge hose. This takes the total distance of the hose and vacuum to over 25m in distance—making it ideal for getting floodwaters out of hard-to-reach places.
High-grade filter to protect motor
The Matala Power-Cyclone Vacuum comes with a high quality Matala filter that protects the motor from sand and debris coming through the system. Again, this makes it ideal for pumping out floodwaters that contain a lot of dirt and sand.

We provide free shipping to 95% of Australia, but there are some locations (e.g. Island and remote rural post codes) which unfortunately we cannot provide this option. Although rare, in this situation we will need to manually add the additional shipping costs prior to dispatch. If this is the case, we will contact you prior to sending the order and billing you an additional amount.
Returns
Goods purchased from Love My Pond are unable to be returned without first reaching out to us and requesting a return. Unfortunately, returns cannot be made for pond and dam liners. No returns can be accepted unless a copy of the purchase invoice is enclosed with the returned item/s. Along with the goods and invoice, please include a list of the goods to be returned, including the product description, quantity, date of return and the customer’s name and address. The items must be returned in the original packaging. Freight charges for returns must be paid by the customer. The customer is responsible for any damage incurred during return shipment. We are only able to issue a credit note after the goods have been successfully returned.
Change of Mind
A request to return goods (except pond and dam liners) because of a change of mind must be made within 7 days of delivery, unless otherwise agreed. Freight charges must be paid by the customer for all change of mind returns.
Cancellation
No cancellation or partial cancellation of an order by the customer can be accepted by Love My Pond unless first consented in writing. Sometimes a cancellation charge will need to be paid by the customer. Cancellations cannot be accepted on goods that are not regular stock which are in the process of manufacture or ready for shipment.
Complaints
All complaints, claims, or notification of lost goods, incomplete goods, damaged goods, or goods that do not comply with your purchase order must be submitted to us in writing within 48 hours of the date of delivery. The exception is pond and dam liners which must be submitted to us immediately on receipt of the products. Otherwise, we will consider you to have accepted the items.
